Lamb Jerky

Perfect for a back to school snack or a protein rich snack for hikes!

 

Ingredients

-lamb roast, thinly sliced (best done while partially frozen)

-1/3 cup soy sauce

-3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

-1 ½ tsps. Onion powder

-1 tsp garlic powder

-1 tbsp oregano

-½ tsp pepper

 

1.     1.  Combine all marinade ingredients in a small dish

2.     2.  Layer thin slices in a dish and brush with the marinade on both sides

3.     3. Keep layering slices and continue brushing

4.     4.Cover and marinate overnight

5.     5.  Place a rack overtop a baking sheet.

6.     6.Place slices on the rack, don’t overlap

7.     7.Place in oven at 175 F for 4 hours, it should be dried and crispy
